About me

portrait

I have been a sysadmin for 15 years. After finishing my degree in Computer Sciences I worked for a couple of years as a Systems Adminstrator. After a brief stint at Inovex where I designed and implemented my first AWS only based infrastructure back in 2008 I joined 1und1 where I was responsible for some of Germany's highest traffic websites like GMX and web.de as an IT Operations Manager. I left 1und1 in 2012 and joined comSysto to build the first German MongoDB as a Service provider MongoSoup based on Docker. I have been appointed as a MongoDB Master in 2015. After a half year long parental leave I took another career move and began to offer my expertise as a DevOps and Cloud Computing Expert as a Freelancer.
